Standard Reports is OptimiDoc's interactive usage and cost analytics report. You choose a date range and optional filters, generate the report, and explore the results across tabbed dashboards — summary tiles, operation and page-type breakdowns, trends over time, and top-ten rankings by user, department, device, location and billing code — then export the data as CSV, XML or HTML, or download a ready-made Excel template.

Overview
Listed simply as Reports in the web interface, this page is a single, interactive report builder rather than a set of fixed templates. Set your criteria, click Generate Report, and the data is presented across five tabs of charts and tables.
Standard Reports is available to every signed-in user, not just administrators — each user sees the activity they are permitted to see. It draws on the same job data as All Jobs, but focuses on aggregated analytics instead of an individual job list.
1. Set Your Filters
The report opens with a collapsible Report Filters panel:

From Date / To Date — the reporting period (the last seven days by default). Future dates cannot be selected.

Location — free-text match on device location.

Users, Departments, Devices, Billing Codes — type-ahead multi-select filters. Each searches the server as you type and resolves your selections by name, so they stay fast and usable even with thousands of users or hundreds of devices.
Click Generate Report to produce the results. The filter panel then collapses to give the charts more room; reopen it at any time to adjust the criteria and regenerate.
2. The Overview Tab
The landing tab summarises the whole result set:

Summary tiles — Total Jobs, Total Pages, Colour Pages, B/W Pages, Duplex Pages and Total Cost.

Total Operations — a doughnut chart splitting jobs into Prints, Copies and Scans.

Page Types — a doughnut chart comparing black-and-white and colour pages.

Key Metrics — average paper per job, colour usage, duplex usage, number of users, and total cost.

Pages over time — a trend chart that toggles between a colour breakdown (black-and-white vs colour lines) and a simplex / duplex view (stacked bars).

Costs over time — shown alongside when a price list produces a non-zero cost.
3. The Users Tab
User-focused statistics — user count, prints/pages/cost per user, colour and duplex usage, and a colour-versus-mono cost breakdown — together with Top 10 Users and Top 10 Departments bar charts. Rankings are ordered by cost when prices are configured, otherwise by page count.
4. The Devices Tab
Device and location statistics — device count, location count, jobs and cost per device, operations by type, and page totals — with Top 10 Devices and Top 10 Locations bar charts.
5. The Billing Codes Tab
Billing-code analytics (formerly Projects) — billing code count, jobs and pages per code, cost breakdown, and a Top 10 Billing Codes chart. This is where cost allocation by client, matter or department comes together. See Billing Codes for how the codes themselves are defined.
6. Exporting
The Export tab offers four downloads of the generated report:

How Charts Adapt
Two behaviours are worth knowing:

Automatic granularity — time-series charts show daily points for ranges up to about a month, weekly points up to roughly five months, and monthly points beyond that.

Cost-aware display — cost tiles, the costs-over-time chart and cost-based rankings only appear once a Price List yields a non-zero cost; otherwise rankings fall back to page counts.

Standard Reports turns raw job data into decision-ready analytics: filter to a period and audience, then read operation and colour breakdowns, trends, and top-ten rankings across users, departments, devices, locations and billing codes — and export whatever you need. Configure Price Lists first to unlock the cost dimension, and use Automatic Reports to have the same analysis emailed to you on a schedule.
