Release Date - 27.08.2025
Release Notes - Server 26.08
Known limitations:
-
Kyocera – accounting pairing; on 26.08 it shows that the scan failed, but it does go through
-
OPN – does not support file encryption
-
Driverless – the license must be activated; after activation, the service must be restarted
Features
-
Full quota enforcement and settlement — print and copy jobs are now checked against per-user, per-group and per-department budgets in real time and settled automatically against a dedicated quota database.
-
Named IPP queue connectors — driverless print queues can be defined individually with their own attribute sets, published by the server and by printing nodes, and distributed across the cluster using a pull-based synchronisation model.
-
PDF job analysis — PDF print streams are now analysed for accurate page, colour and finishing detection, alongside the existing PCL and PostScript (PDL) analysis.
-
Stronger security — AES-GCM encryption of credentials and configuration, an administrator-driven encryption-key migration tool, and secure bootstrap of new cluster nodes through delegated authentication and master-encryption-key exchange.
-
Modern React administration UI — now the default interface, with a customisable per-user dashboard and role-based default layouts.
-
Reporting improvements — the Activity Log is available to every user, the job detail view has been redesigned with a document preview and processing timeline, duplex pages are accounted separately, and exports stream directly to XLSX and CSV.
-
Scan workflow overhaul — secondary destinations, e-mail input via OAuth, IMAP and POP3, multi-select OCR languages, workflow import/export, and license-gated capabilities.
-
Scale and performance — asynchronous search selectors in place of load-all dropdowns, database-side aggregation of statistics and streaming exports, tested against deployments of 10,000+ users and 500+ devices.
